Ice skating + committee activities

We are organizing a committee day on the 27th of November. In the morning we will go ice skating :) Followed by an afternoon full of fun activities organized by the different committees. This way you can get to know the committees we have :D. We will finish the day with dinner at the UWC (subscribe for dinner separately). We gather at 10:30 at IJsbaan Twente (Colosseum 90, 7521 PT Enschede). Costs: €8,25 for Ice skating + costs for lunch and dinner (if more than 20 people join the ice skating will be €6,25). If you don't have skates, it is also possible to rent skates at the icerink for €6,50. See you there!

Polotournament east

Just like regular we start the period after the introduction lessons with the tournament east. This is a real beginner-friendly tournament with hopefully a lot of new members. There will be costed involved but those will be made clear later.

Krazy Kangaroo

On Tuesday the 8th of March we will go to Krazy Kangaroo for a nice jumpsession! We will go jump from 18:00 to 20:00 and have drinks afterwards. The costs for Krazy Kangaroo are 10 euros with Unioncard and 15 euros without (+ 3€ in case you don’t have jumping socks yet). We hope you all jump at this chance! You can sign up and until the 5th of March.

Secret Santa

The holidays are coming up! Sinterklaas already arrived in the Netherlands :) Generally, he leaves again the 5th of December, but specially for DKV Euros he will stay a bit longer and he will visit us at the 13th of December! In the Sinterklaas and Christmas spirit, we will celebrate this during dinner and drinks with Secret Santa! Everyone will buy a present of about 5 euros for someone. Writing a poem or making a ‘surprise’ is not necessary but always appreciated, so be as creative as you want! Please sign up before the 25th of November, after that we will draw the names.

After the minigames, the kiddo’s will come to the watersports complex for a nice BBQ. During this BBQ, they can come by our boat shed to experience kayaking. They can choose for flatwater or canoe polo. We need your help to explain the basics of kayaking, get the kiddo’s in a boat and guide them on the water. Veluwerally (Introactivity)

One of the biggest Kano events in the Netherlands. This tour trip challenges you to do a distance of 20, 35or 50km over the IJssel. You can go join in the always fun BBQ boat floating downstream or go for the long trip! We will leave the evening of the 26th and camp in Deventer. Food will be provided! Costs are 21,00+food+gas. Polotoernooi van het Oosten (Intro activity)

Hallo Euros, We willen dit jaar wederom het toernooi van het Oosten organiseren en wel (inmiddels traditioneel) de laatste zaterdag van september. Het idee is om beginners/jeugd kennis te laten maken, waarbij gezelligheid centraal staat. Om het laagdrempelig te houden, duurt het 1 dagje, maar om de ervaring compleet te maken is er de mogelijkheid om te blijven kamperen. We eindigen de dag met een BBQ en daarna wordt de vuurton aangestoken. Deelname aan het toernooi is wederom gratis, kosten van het eten zijn €7,50 per persoon. Het zou gezellig zijn als iedereen weer mee eet! Als je een team hebt, hoor ik graag wat het niveau is, hoeveel personen er mee willen eten en of er interesse is voor het kamperen. Individuele spelers mogen zich ook aanmelden, dan ga ik een team samenstellen. Inschrijven kan bij mij door te reageren op deze mail of te appen. Keistad

This is always an awesome tournament that is fun for players of all levels (so even if you've never done a tournament before, you're more than welcome to join!). It's in the middle of the summer, so it's likely to be sunny and warm. The tournament is held at KV Keistad, the kayaking association from Amersfoort, which is located near the Amersfoort city centre, so on Saturday, we'll likely go out to the city for a nice dinner.

HIT Canoe Polo

Helmond International Tournament is the world's largest Canoe Polo tournament. Since this is the 25th edition of the legendary tournament it will be extra long, extra big and extra awesome. The tournament will take place during eastern and span three days! During those three days over 800 games will be played by more than 100 teams! All divisions are represented, from youth to 1st division. We will participate in the fourth (and lowest) division, so the tournament is open to everybody, whether you've got a lot of canoe polo experience or none at all.

Keistad

Het wordt weer zomer, dus het Keistad kanopolo toernooi komt er weer aan. Dit leuke toernooi in Amersfoort vindt dit jaar plaats in het weekend van 25 en 26 juni en is goed geschikt voor zowel de beginnende als de ervaren poloer. Wil je meedoen, stuur dan even een mailtje naar polocie@euroskano.nl

GoSlo

3-12 juni gaan we weer richting Slovenie om wildwater te varen op de Soca. Deze jaarlijkse traditie vakantie is uitstekend geschikt om even bij te komen van de studiedruk en natuurlijk ook om je boot techniek te verbeteren op wildwater level 2-4.Dit jaar gaat er een zeer goede trainer mee en een hele hoop leuke mensen van Levitas. Doordat we zo laat in het seizoen gaan is de kans op lekker weer ook nog eens aanwezig. Afgelopen jaren kwamen de kosten ongeveer uit op 300-350 euro.

HIT Helmond

HIT Helmond is een leuk internationaal kano polo toernooi, met een speciale beginners klasse, dus geef je ook vooral op als je nog niet zo lang poloed maar wel graag mee zou willen.

Hike

Hoewel kano'en heel leuk is, is er ook iets te zeggen voor afwisseling, met andere woorden ga vooral mee op deze hike, een weekend lang wandelen en genieten van de natuur, de rust en het goede gezelschap.

Fakkeltocht

Na al het polo geweld van de afgelopen weken wordt het tijd om weer eens vooruit te gaan kijken en hoe kan dat nu beter dan met een mooi toertochtje? Op 18 maart gaan we dan ook genieten van een prachtig stukje natuurschoon, dat ook nog eens dicht bij huis ligt, het Kristalbad. Om het allemaal wat interessanter te maken gaan we dit 's avonds doen, waarbij we ons pad verlichten met fakkels. Omdat het stukje dat we gaan varen zo dichtbij is beginnen en eindigen we gewoon bij de loods en zijn dus geen tijd kwijt met op- en afbinden en, misschien nog wel het grootste voordeel, we hebben geen bob nodig! Kortom geef je nu op voor een gezellig avondje varen in een prachtig natuurgebied!

24 uurs van KVSO

Ook dit jaar doen we weer mee aan het 24 uurs kanopolo toernooi. Heerlijk warm in een zwembad, daarmee ook het enige toernooi in de winter. Een toernooi van 24 uur, waarin je dus door de nacht heen kanopoloed.
